Join Brigham Young University alumni and friends on these affordable tours. For the past several years, we have worked with the BYU Alumni Association to organize and provided alumni hosts to guide affordable tours to the sacred early church history sites. This has proven to be an extremely popular and affordable vacation choice for many alumni and friends. More than 2,700 BYU alumni, their family members, and friends have enjoyed these experiences.
To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the prophet Joseph Smith, we invite you, your companion, your children, grandchildren, relatives, or friends to join us on one of these tours. Your choices include the Nauvoo/Independence areas or the Palmyra/Kirtland areas. You may choose between these tours or sign up for our combination tours, which include the sites from both tours.
Your trip, as noted below will be directed by an experienced BYU alumni host couple from BYU alumni staff or from our BYU alumni board.
We also offer Education Week-like cruises to Alaska (hosted by Dr. Susan Easton Black, the Caribbean in May (hosted by Dr. Alex Baugh), & a Cedar City Shakespeare tour in August(hosted by Michael Wilcox).
